U.S. Representative Joe Courtney Engages with UConn’s Crumbling Concrete Research Team

U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney visited campus on July 7th to hear the latest on #crumblingfoundation research conducted by the UConn Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Courtney, who was also joined by Vernon resident and Concrete Queen Debbie MacCoy, whose home was affected by faulty concrete, chatted with UConn President Radenka Maric and #engineering faculty and staff. CEE’s Professor Kay Wille is the Principal Investigator for the project, joined by CEE Department Head Marisa Chrysochoou and Connecticut Transportation Institute’s Jim Mahoney.
