Traditional master's programs focus on advancing student's technical knowledge through research. UConn's Master of Engineering (MENG) is designed for professionals who are already employed as practicing engineers and for those who are interested in expanding their skill-set before entering the industry.

The MENG degree increases the breadth and depth of knowledge for practicing engineers by merging cutting-edge technical engineering courses with practical courses in business and project management.

In this program, students will be offered the opportunity to expand their knowledge while demonstrating their skills and technical expertise by working on a company-sponsored capstone project along with their faculty advisor.
