Professors Kay Wille and Marisa Chrysochoou joined a team of international experts from Canada, Switzerland and Norway, to assist with an emerging crisis in Ireland. Thousands of homeowners are affected by crumbling concrete that contains the reactive mineral pyrrhotite, an issue that also affects many towns in Northeastern Connecticut.
