The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering proudly celebrates the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and extends its congratulations to all graduates who crossed the stage this spring.

This year, the School awarded degrees to 76 Civil Engineering graduates and 34 Environmental Engineering graduates, welcoming 110 new alumni into the UConn Civil and Environmental Engineering community.

Commencement marks the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work. Throughout their time at UConn, these graduates have tackled complex engineering challenges, collaborated on innovative projects, engaged in research, completed internships, and developed the technical and leadership skills needed to address some of society's most pressing infrastructure and environmental issues.

As they begin the next chapter of their journeys, our graduates will pursue careers across consulting, construction, transportation, environmental protection, water resources, energy, government, and research. Others will continue their education through graduate studies and advanced professional training.

Design with purpose. Build with care. Lead with impact.

The School is incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and the contributions they have already made to our community. While their time as students may have come to an end, they remain an important part of our growing alumni network.

We encourage our newest alumni to stay connected with the School, share their professional accomplishments, and continue engaging with future generations of engineers. The experiences and perspectives of our graduates play an important role in inspiring and mentoring current students.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We wish you continued success and look forward to seeing the impact you will make in your communities, professions, and around the world.
