We are excited to share that Emmanouil Anagnostou, Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor and Eversource Energy Endowed Chair of Environmental Engineering, has been named a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society. This honor recognizes his influential contributions to remote sensing hydrology, hydrometeorology, and environmental engineering.

Anagnostou’s work has advanced how scientists measure precipitation, quantify uncertainty, and understand extreme weather, and his leadership at UConn Tech Park, Institute of the Environment and Energy, and the Eversource Energy Center continues to shape energy resilience and environmental research.
